Role is to ensure access by Aboriginal people in the Great Southern to primary health care either by the direct provision of primary health care services or by facilitating access to mainstream services. Immunisation Clinic are held on a regular basis. The Bringing Them Home Program and Building Solid Families Program located with GSAHS. Not an Aboriginal Health Service no resident doctor on site. Provides a Maternal,Child Health and Chronic Disease health service. Registered Nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers run these prograams.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
