Hobart City Council - Pension Concession Parking Vouchers

Pensioner concession parking vouchers are available for people whom have a Centrelink pensioner concession card and are registered owners of a motor vehicle. Applicants are required to produce their concession card, along with their current vehicle registration papers before a booklet of vouchers will be issued. The vouchers enables a person to four hours free parking at any of the Hobart City Council car parks: one day per week, with an allowance of being able to use the vouchers four weeks in advance of the current numbered voucher. Hobart City Councils' car parks are currently offering the first hour free, so in effect the pensioner vouchers will give a person five hours free parking. To apply a person would be required to present their concession card and registration papers to the Customer service Centre, 16 Elizabeth Street ( the old Hydro building)

I'm on a full Aged Pension, and my health is good. I currently rent a unit in Chelsea, Vic (1695 per month). I have limited funds at my disposal. My biggest asset is my 5-year old car. I need to know if there is any possibility of retirement living for me.
