Each local area coordinator (LAC) provides support to between 45 and 70 people with disabilities, which enables the service to remain personalised and responsive. They also build strong community networks by connecting with local community members and groups who are willing to provide support .The local area coordinator operates as a service coordinator rather than a service provider, and, as such, is there to help the person with a disability and their family or carers to plan, select and receive needed services South Metro Region , Peel District has 2 offices - Mandurah and Pt Kennedy.The Mandurah office covers the area of Mandurah Central(Ewa Neal ,95815893); Murray/Pinjarra(Jan Locke , 9535 6544) , Mandurah North(Marie Finch, 9535 1387)Mandurah South(Sheila McCloud, 9535 9013 and Mandurah East(Susan Ball, 9535 3741). The Disability Services Commission (DSC) provides Local Area Coordination (LAC) support throughout all of Western Australia. The service is available to people with physical, sensory, neurological, cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities under the age of 60 . Hi i'm a 34 year old pensioner with a disability I have recently been a victim of family violence. I have 3 children. My 10yo lizard was fed to my dogs as well as all my food in the cupboard, my front door was kicked in so currently has no door knob and can't be locked, my daughter was terrorizes where he stood in her room with a knife and all our clothing and most bedding was cut up. I have spoken to centrelink who cannot help me because the perpetrators address wasn't mine, I have tried welfare agencies who for the past 3 days have been full by the time I get through on the phone and no one seems to be concerned or worried about the after effects. If anyone can please help please let me know.

Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
