About Aegis - Banksia Park Aged Care(Kwinana Village)

A 45 bed nursing home including 23 single and 11 shared rooms, including a secure Dementia wing. ACF are close to the Hub shopping centre, the bus station. Services include Palliative care nursing, Rehabilitation services, Tube feeding, Tracheostomy care, Diversional therapy and an Activities Officer who organises bingo, crafts, entertainment. The facility has a big screen TV used for viewing movies. A Physio, OT, Podiatrist, Speech Therapist and Dietitian are available when needed. The Community Visiting Scheme is available. A Hairdresser visits weekly and a Beautician as required. The Nursing Home has its own 12 seater bus for organised outings. Pets are allowed to visit the premises; residents are not permitted to keep their own pets. Grevillea Hostel is under the same roof as the Nursing Home. On this site are the Independent Living Units of Banksia Park and Callistemon Court. Orelia Hostel at 14 Burke Pl , Orelia , is now a Care Awaiting Placement Facility.
