About AH Crawford Lodge (Country Areas)

The Cancer Council Crawford Lodge, a two-storey accommodation facility for country cancer patients and their carers coming to Perth for diagnosis and treatment, offers first-class facilities in a caring and supportive environment. nIn order to relieve the financial burden of visiting Perth for treatment, the Cancer Council subsidises the cost of the accommodation by keeping room charges in-line with the Department of Health's Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS). This amounts to $35.00 per person per night. Guests may be able to claim the cost of their stay through the PATS scheme. It is necessary to contact the PATS Clerk at your local hospital before coming to Perth. The Lodge, which is located close to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands, does not provide nursing care, so guests must be able to either look after themselves or be accompanied by a carer. Carers are also welcome to stay at the Lodge whilst their relative is in hospital.
