Albany Lions Community Care Centre is a HACC service provider to the frail aged and people with a disabilty to remain living in the community. The following services are provided :- Assessment - to determine HACC eligibility ; Centre-based Day Care(meals provided ) M-F ; Domestic Assistance-for tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning plus windows and shopping etc. ; Home maintenance - to help keep your home and garden safe , secure and functional.These include repairs or maintenance such as tap washers,smoke alarms, light globes , cleaning gutters , minor carpentry works, clearing pathways, gardening and pruning etc ; nPersonal Care- showering , grooming and dressing; Carer Respite - in home respite to take the carer's role and give them a break or respite ;Social Support - to assist with tasks such as banking, shopping and providing company for outings etc; Transport- available 7 days a week between 9am and 4pm. Need to book 24hrs in advance.
