About Albury Wodonga Parents and Babies Unit

The Parents & Babies Unit provides effective, practical support and strategies that enable mothers and fathers to confidently manage the challenge of early parenting. As parenting issues involve the whole family, partners or significant support persons are encouraged and welcome to attend. SERVICES PROVIDED: the unit can provide assistance and practical help with parenting issues such as: understanding your baby's behaviour, feeding management (including breast feeding or bottle feeding), introduction of solids and weaning, settling your baby, sleeping patterns, crying & unsettled behaviour, adjusting difficulties, parential fatigue, npostnatal stress, uncertainty with your parenting role, postnatal depression & anxiety, relationship support. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: A parent help line is available between 9am and 4.30pm for parenting information, npostnatal depression support groups, parenting education sessions, visiting psychiatrist, access available to an interpreter
