The Recherche Aged Welfare Committee run 2 retirement villages/ independent living units in Esperance- Alchera Homes and Brazier Villas. These villages are near each other and close to the Esperance ACF. Alchera Homes - independent living units- have 18 single bed units arranged as 9 duplexes. All have an ensuite, kitchen, living area and shared laundry. There is access to carports on site. There is also a small community meeting room and shared workshop . Services are not provided to residents but they can access external providers to supply services such as HACC and meals on wheels. These independent living units are all rentals.
