Wearne House is a combined Nursing Home and Hostel. The Hostel comprises 23 low care beds and the Nursing Home comprises 24 high care beds with 5 shared rooms on the premises. Persons must be assessed by an ACAT. Services include Ageing in place, a Dementia care wing not secure; Tube feeding, Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist. Pets permitted to visit premises at Managers consent, public bus 1 block away and facility transport provided for outings. A Hairdresser visits twice weekly and residents must organise their own GP. Activities provided include outings, bingo twice weekly, exercise classes, crafts, Fun show club and Mens club.
