About Association for the Blind of WA(country areas)

This is a statewide HACC service but does not have a regional office in the Goldfields. Services are provided from the main office in Victoria Park and from regional offices in Bunbury, Geraldton, Mandurah and Albany. Regular visits are undertaken to rural areas throughout the State including the Kimberley and Esperance regions.nThey offer counselling, support, information and advocacy for both the carer and recipient. Their professional team offers specialist skills, training and advice to help people with vision loss to regain confidence and achieve fulfilled and independent lives. nSpecialist staff, including Guide Dog instructors, Technology and Training staff, members of the Children's Services Team and field officers visit country areas as required. Several Technology and Training programs and courses can be accessed via the Internet
