Senior Citizens Clubs promote recreational and social activities amongst its members who are 55yo and over. It is run by Club Committee members and provides a meeting place and social outlet for senior citizens in the Melville area.nThere are x2 kitchens at this centre and one is dedicated to The City of Melville's Meals on Wheels. The other kitchen is for the Senior Citizens Club and they provide a 3-course meal for $5.50 each day of the week. Home delivery can be arranged.There are many social and recreational activities held each day at the centre and these include snooker,carpet bowls with competitions as well as social play ; bingo , all card games scrabble, rumican; outings each 3rd Sunday of the month;dinners in July and December; and functions to celebrate club members birthdays etc. City of Melville Podiatry services operate from this centre and the other Senior Citizens Centres at Southern Districts and Stock Road Centres.
