About Carers NT Association

Home and Community Care (HACC) funded Respite Coordinator. All respite bookings are done through NT Carers. Respite can be booked for disabled, frail aged or chronically ill, and not necessarily for persons over 65. Resource Centre on site with library, Carer Kits. Staff initiatives include: Carer counsellor, Palliative Care Volunteer Coordinator, Community Liaison Officer and Ageing Carers Case Manager. Also offers assistance with managing stress, coping skills, dealing with grief and loss, transition issues, practical problem solving techniques, emotional support and health and wellbeing.
