The Wagga Community Support Team is part of a regional disability service operating in the Riverina - Murray area of NSW. The Community Support Team is able to provide assistance and support to all over 5 with an intellectual disability and high support need. Referrals can be made by anyone with the consent of the proposed client or their family. After a referral is made a team discussion occurs to identify the most appropriate person to offer assistance. A home visit will then occur to make a more detailed assessment of the needs and support requested. 1300 134 450 between 9am - 4.30pm Mon - FrinThe Team comprises Community Workers (case managers), Psychologists, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist & Behaviour Intervention Support.
