About Esperance Aged Care Facility

Esperance Aged Care Facility comprises 43 high care and 41 low care places. They have an ageing-in-place facility with 2 x 10 bed dementia-specific wings and respite beds available. Current construction works in progress includes 16 independent living units, the first of which is due to be completed early 2008 and will be managed by Esperance Aged Care Facility. These facilities are located in close proximity of each other - the nursing home is in Randell St and the hostel (Recherche Rortary Hostel ) is in Eyre St. They are all single rooms and have the following services :- visiting allied health (OT, physio, podiatry), social visits by volunteer groups, and ther is an activities officer. Pets are allowed and the facilities have their own pets. Hairdresser also visits regularly. Transport is available and a new activities centre has been built between the the 2 facilities for the residents to enjoy.
