About Food and Friendship Kitchen(Soup Kitchen)
Free meal of soup to people who are homeless , on very low income or who are socially marginalised. The soup van goes to park behind Lockyer School every Wednesday from 4.30pm to 5.00pm. Free soup, no eligibility criteria. Ruth holds stalls, selling jams, relishes and chutneys at PCYC fairs with all monies raised from this goes to supply food and running costs for the group.nThis is a group of non-affiliated , volunteer women who use the kitchen at The Church to prepare the soup to serve that evening.
