About Greater Southern Area Health, Artificial Limb & Appliance Service
The Greater Southern Area Health Artificial Limb and Appliance Centre manufacture and fit artificial limbs, splints, braces, footwear and other orthotic devices as required. The service also repair devices and educate people in the use and care of these devices. Referrals required from GPs to see Rehab Specialists who prescribe replacement limbs or orthotic devices that may require PADP funding or insurance approval.
