About Killara Adult Day Centre

The Killara Centre is sponsored by the Shire of Northam and services are funded by HACC and NRCP Programs. The Killara Centre provides a range of services that can be utilized to offer a flexible, carer focused mix of Day Care, Social Support and Respite options seven days a week. Respite can be short term, overnight or planned and can be at the Centre, in home or another venue. A variety of activities and outings are offered at the Centre and all programs incorporate outings . Some specific programs - nWalkabout Outing Group - for the aged, need to be mobile and not need high level of care. nMen's Outing Group - men only outings twice a month.nSmall group outings nAreas covered : HACC - Shire of Northam; but younger people with disabilities and carers of those people - also includes the Shires of Toodyay, Cunderdin, York and GoomallingnNRCP Funding - Respite general and Respite for Working Carers and Overnight respite (one night episodes) - Shire of Northam.
