Comprehensive, integrated and community based public mental health service, which addresses the individual needs of older persons who suffer a serious psychiatric disorder. nnThe primary focus is on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of individuals within their usual environment, wherever this is both reasonable and practical.nnCare and treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team, led by the Director of Clinical Services - Psychiatry.nnInpatient Services are provided at Latrobe Regional Hospital for Adult, Child & Adolescent, Aged and Extended Care.nnA case manager is appointed to each client, who ensures that services provided are appropriately responsive and accessible to clients, their families and carers.
