Midway covers the Peel region providing opportunities and support disabled people to pursue options that enhance their skills, self-esteem, community integration and independence from Inclusion and participation in socially and culturally appropriate community settings and activities.; Living and creative skills development; Recreation; Centre based activities; Special projects; Work experience opportunities; Transportation;nMidway Community Care provides 3 group home for Adults with Disabilities . This is a private organisation and is is funded in part by DSC. Must be intellectually disabled to be eligible for services. There is a respite house is Bridgewater, Erskine with 2 fully funded beds and one unfunded bed.The centre-based day care is an alternative to employment centre. Midway can assist individuals receiving Disability Services Commission's Intensive Family Support Funding (IFS) by the provision of support services that they require.
