About Narrandera Aged Activity Centre

The Narrandera Aged Activity Centre is in the grounds of the Narrandera District Hospital and offers a welcoming, secure and homely environment. Activities are supervised by trained, experienced staff and are aimed at maintaining or improving the existing skills of people taking part. Participant's individual needs and interests are always considered and staff encourages involvement to maintain residual skills through socialisation, stimulation and participation. Activities vary and include: Carpet Bowls, Bingo, Table Games, Outings and Daily exercises. Once referred, a home visit is usually conducted to assess eligibility and also to meet the coordinator so that clients do not feel overwhelmed when they first visit the centre. If clients are suitable for the bus, staff will arrange transport on the centre's bus.
