This is a 50 bed , high care facility with provision for respite and dementia (the facility itself is secure). They provide various Allied Health services to residents as needed - including podiatry, OT, Physiotherapy, optomotrist, speech therapy. Primary care such as visisting GPs, dentists and medical specialists are also available. They have outings each month, have visiting high school children come and entertain and interact with the residents.There is an activities co-ordinator and therefore a variety of recreational and social activities for residents. Pets are allowed to visit and there are pet cockateels in the ACF.There is a sensory garden with a waterfall, fragrant flower gardens, textured garden paths and many period pieces of old farm implements and old-fashion telephons placed as pieces of art in this garden.
