Australian Hearing is a Commonwealth Government Authority that is dedicated to helping people manage their hearing impairment to improve their quality of life. Australian Hearing provides a full range of services exclusively to most pensioners, most war veterans and children, most of which are fully subsided by the Government. They also operate a 'shhh' support group on the third Wednesday of every month at 1.30pm - starting again sometime - held at the hearing centre conference room.

Better Hearing Australia is a non profit organisation that assists hearing impaired adults maintain their place in the hearing society. Hands Can Talk provides workshops on sign language for professionals, parents, carers or anyone who has a need to establish alternative lines of communication with a child. Hearing Care Support

Assistance given to hearing aid users, so they can gain the full benefits of their hearing aids. This service is provided by Pat Fulton a registered nurse, specialising as a Hearing Coach and a hearing aid user herself for 20 years. The service provides assistance to help clients use their hearing aids, including how to manage batteries, cleaning and simple techniques to ensure the aid is being used to its full potential. Service also acts as a resource for hearing services. Home visits available. Able to attend community groups, retirement villages, support groups etc and conducts in service programs in nursing homes and hostels.
