A car service is also provided for people needing to attend specialist treatment or medical appointments locally and withing surrounding towns e.g. Tamworth, Dubbo, Gunnedah, Mudgee. A regular bus from Coonabarabran to Dubbo runs on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The bus leaves Coonabarabran at 8am, picks up from Binnaway & arrives in Dubbo at approximately 11 am. A second trip runs from Baradine to Dubbo on the 4th Thursday of each month. This bus leaves Baradine at 8 am, picks up from Coonabarabran, Binnaway & Mendooran arriving in Dubbo at 11.15 am. Both buses depart Dubbo at 3 pm for their return trips. Passengers may use these buses for medical, social, access or transit reasons. A Day Care Bus operates every Tuesday between Binnaway & Coonabarabran & every 3rd Thursday between Baradine & Coonabarabran. Bookings are essential for all services.
