9 buses (in total) with seating capacities ranging from 31-57, including 2 wheelchair accessible buses. The passenger entry and exit door/area is wide and low, and has a fold out ramp and a special area for passengers in wheel chairs and other mobility disadvantaged passengers. The HACC Multiservice Outlet provides transport within towns to enable people to attend to their shopping and business matters. A car service is also provided for people needing to attend specialist treatment or medical appointments locally and withing surrounding towns e.g. Tamworth, Dubbo, Gunnedah, Mudgee. A regular bus from Coonabarabran to Dubbo runs on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The bus leaves Coonabarabran at 8am, picks up from Binnaway & arrives in Dubbo at approximately 11 am. A second trip runs from Baradine to Dubbo on the 4th Thursday of each month. This bus leaves Baradine at 8 am, picks up from Coonabarabran, Binnaway & Mendooran arriving in Dubbo at 11.15 am. Both buses depart Dubbo at 3 pm for their return trips. Passengers may use these buses for medical, social, access or transit reasons. This is a 'Trial Project' to finish 31 July 2008. The service provides 24 hour access to public transport and is a no-fuss, convenient alternative to carrying cash for public transport. The vouchers can be used in an emergency (especially children), or to provide a means to get to appointments and outings. Vouchers can be purchased from taxi, bus and coach operators.
