The Courtesy Bus runs approximately every 15 minutes it picks up patients, hospital clients, visitors and staff to transport them to Gosford Hospital. The Courtesy bus operates from 8am - 4pm (does not operate between 11.15 am and 12 noon) Four pick up points: Gosford Railway Station, Gosford Hospital Main Entrance, Holden Street (near old kiosk), and Stephen Street (opposite Health Service Building. The bus does not have a hoist.

CountryLink provides travel assistance to people who receive government pensions. 4 vouchers for one way travel anywhere throughout NSW and ACT in a 12 month period. Travellers who are going interstate are required to pay 'border rates' upon entering a state outside of NSW except ACT eg Vic is $28. If a traveller has used all 4 vouchers and is planning on more train travel within that 12 month period fares will be offered at half price.

Provides an assessment service to determine whether a person possesses the skills of a competent driver. The assessment process has 3 stages (1) off road (physical, cognitive and visual status) (2) on road (on road driving skills) (3) Feedback (the results from the above tasks are then discussed with the person). Based upon recommendations from the assessment process, a report is then sent to the RTA. There is an assessment fee $300.00 (not a subsidised service & there is no Medicare rebate) plus ongoing driver's lessons fees at $57.50. Service can be used by people of all ages.

This service is managed by Great Community Transport (GCT) and provides a transport option for people who are not eligible for Home and Community Care (HACC) services and are temporarily unable to drive due to illness or surgery and want transport to another appointment which is not to a hospital. Cost is 80c p/km for medical transports plus $5 booking fee with a minimum charge of $25. If transport cannot be scheduled into an existing run user will have to pay for the drivers hours. Special care transport can also be arranged where the user requires a constant level of care during transporting - $30 p/day for a volunteer carer supplied by GCT to accompany a low need client for medical, shopping and social outings. $30 p/hr for a paid carer supplied by GCT for constant care. Weekend and after hours rates can be supplied on application. GCT has a fleet of 15 vehicles - 10 modified for wheelchairs and 4 modified for transporting people needing to have portable oxygen.
