About Project Samaritan

This programme is an initiative of the Tasmanian Crime Preventation and Community Safety Council. As a part of Project Samaritan, Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) volunteers have been specially trained by Tasmania Police to visit residential burglary victims and provide additional advice about:nproperty marking;nlow cost measures to reduce the risk of burglary; andnthe benefits of security devices (e.g. locks, sensor lights and security alarms)
