The Division empowers General Practitioners to improve the health of the community by assisting with effeective support, communication and representation, enhancing the quality of general practice, collaborating with the broader health systems and building alliances with the community and other key stakeholders. Some prorams that are facilitated by the Division include; Regional Health Services program, More Allied Health services Program, Wagga Applied psychological services, Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care, Rural Palliative care, Falls prevention, Primary Care Dementia Program, Aged Care Program, Practice Nurse Education Program, Youth and Mens Health programs, Workforce Support Program, Quality Use of Medicines Program, and the National Primary Care Collaboratives Program.
