The Rockingham Respite Cottage is close to the Rockingham foreshore and provides centre based respite care to people who are aged, have a disability or life limiting illness. nThe support SC provides enables carers to take a short term break. The cottage operates as a Day Centre with before and after hours care and overnight accommodation. Home cooked meals are served in a warm and friendly environment. nActivities such as art and craft, music, games, puzzles and outings are all offered at the cottage. Transport to and from the cottage can also be arranged.nThis is a fully-funded centre under NRCP There are 3 respite beds and residents usually stay up to to 14 days.There is a shared bathroom and a chef cooks meals each day at the centre .
