The Shire of Moora boasts excellent arts, culture, childcare, education, health, parks, playgrounds and sporting facilities. Facilities are available to the community. Moora also has a comprehensive Health Service that forms part of the Wheatbelt Region of the WA Country Health Service. This includes the Moora District Health Service is which is comprised of a Hospital, A Frail Aged Lodge, Home Support Services, Meals on Wheels and Allied and community Health Services. Community Health Services include Aboriginal Health, Child Health, School Health and Health Promotion. nThe Shire of Moora operates the Moora Lifestyle Village - Over 50's affordable lifestyle living designed for the retired or near retirement independant persons. The village has park home sites available for lease and includes the following shared facilities: Gazebo and BBQ, Community Shed, Community Meeting Room and Community Parking (additional secured parking for RV's, caravans, boats and trailers.) Lot sizes vary from 180m2 to 321.29m2 with weekly rents varying according to lot size. (Weekly rental includes water usage and use of shared community facilities).nOther facilities and services availabled in the Shire of Moora are Low Care Residential beds at the Moora Frail Aged Lodge (The Lodge), Meals on Wheels are provided from the hospital five days per week (this can be extended to weekends when required). Adjacent to the lodge are independent living units (a mix of single and double) which are run by the Homes for the Aged committee.
