About Taxi User Subsidy Scheme

The Taxi Users' Subsidy Scheme (TUSS) provides taxi travel at a reduced rate for people who have a severe disability that will always prevent them from using a conventional public transport bus service. nWho is eligible for a subsidy? nTo be eligible for a subsidy you must: n-be a permanent resident of Western Australia. Proof of residency is required, for example: na copy of a pension card, na driver's licence or na residency visa. If a residency visa is provided please also provide a copy of a recent utility bill; and n-have a severe disability that will always prevent you using a conventional public transport bus service; and n-The disability is required to be continual and fall within the specified categories of: nsevere mobility disability; nsevere vision disability (legal blindness); and nsevere cognitive/intellectual disability.
