About Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme ( VPTAS ) Gippsland

The Purpose of the Scheme is to assist Victorian residents ( predominantly nrural and remote clients) with travel and accommodation costs incurred when ntravelling more than 100 Kilometres (one way) to the nearest medical and/or ndental specialist, (ie), Victorian rural residents who need to travel 100 Km or more (one way) to see a specialist, or, Victorian Metropolitan resident who need to travel interstate/long distances to see a specialist that is not available in Victoria.
