Allambee Counselling

The services provided are:-Sexual assault/abuse counselling; Youth Service; Domestic Violence -"Heartworks" Chrysalids - They are closed groups (ie can not start halfway through) .Eligibility for Allambee groups - 16 and over, effected by sexual abuse or sexual assault (i.e a mother or auntie of a child who has been abused, a survivor of abuse) or a victim of domestic violence. First contact will be through the duty officer - Allambee believes in the empowerment of our clients and as such has a strict self referral policy (in other words the client must tell us that they want counselling) officer . Also have an Aboriginal Service. Allambee is funded by Dept of Health WA for sexual assault victims , Dept of Child Protection for children who are victims of family violence and GP Down South who offer counselling and support to children of family violence.

When people have an accident or are diagnosed as having a disability, Disability First Stop will direct them towards the appropriate agencies to give them the support they need (within 18 months). Disability First Stop provides: Information via telephone, from email and face to face. Access to web based information covering a broad range of contacts appropriate to the initial phase post diagnosis. Supported referral to relevant services. Assistance with individual planning.
