The Continence Advisory Service operates a confidential advisory service and Resource Centre. Advice can be given on services available to provide assessment and treatment of continence problems. Information on continence products and information pamphlets are available.

The Continence Management and Advice Service (CMAS) provides community based management and advice and product subsidy to people with ongoing continence conditions. Eligible for the CMAS , if you : -Are over 18 years of age. -Had a chronic incontinence for more than six months. -Are a holder of a pensioner concession card or health care card. -Are not on other continence schemes. -A permanent resident in WA for at least six months. A registered nurse will clinically assess each client who accesses the CMAS and will develop a management plan around that person's needs.A client may be prescribed continence products and may access a new continence product subsidy of up to $470 per year. CMAS is accessible across 15 Silver Chain clinics and telephone assessments are available throughout WA. They offer an informed approach between Silver Chain and medical practitioners and assistance from registered nurses specialising in continence assessment and treatment. A registered nurse with expertise in continence management will clinically assess each client who accesses the CMAS and will develop an individual continence management plan around that person's needs. Through this plan, a client may be prescribed continence products on the basis of clinical need and so may have access to a new continence product subsidy of up to $470 per year.
