Funded by the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Council auspices Home and Community (HACC) development workers to support aged and disability service providers in delivering services to meet the needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers across the Riverina and Murray area.nThe Development Officer provides; Support to aged and disability community forums for the aged and disability services across the region in order to provide the best possible services through co-ordination, communication and common assessment and referral procedures.nTrain and support service providers in the HACC agenda, which includes new systems of assessment, referral, data collection and compliance to service standards.nRespond to issues relating to older people, people with disabilities and their carers that come through council.
