Anyone who is finding it difficult to use public transport because they are frail aged, have a disability or is a carer can use the service based on their relative need. Each client is assessed after an Information Kit is provided. Wattle Group also provides Day Care Activities, a Rehab workshop and a Rural Respite Activity Centre at George Town. nWattle Group members can also access hydrotherapy classes at Newstead Heights School. Transport service operates on a needs basis 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Assists with travel to respite, shopping, church, library visits and social activities.
