Wilf Sargent House provides Short to medium term accommodation and is a secured house. For men and couples over 25 years who are homeless and those with mental health issues who have an ongoing case manager outside Wilf Sargent House. This service provides supported medium term accommodation up to 9 months.There are x 8 , twin share beds, counselling and case managers to assist in acquiring long term accommodation and integration back into mainstream. Wilf Sargent House is funded by SAAP-Supported Accommodation Assistance Program). Additional services include assistance in locating and moving to affordable accommodation; mediation and advocacy for housing related issues; liaising with accommodation agencies such as Dept of Housing and Works and heath and community services; a structured recreation program to further social and living skills.
