Provides domestic style housing for ten people aged over 60 in each house. Nursing is not provided. Meals are provided. Utility costs (except private phones) are covered. Prospective residents need to be assessed by a Doctor. A two-week familiarisation period in the house is standard procedure. Not for emergency or respite accommodation. The waiting period is generally not more than 4 months. Resident's fortnightly contribution is in advance, and is based on Aged Pension.nTwo in Canberra Ainslie and Garran.
