Arranges for a registered medical doctor to visit a home or an establishment in the evenings/weekends. Most patients will be seen shortly after the call is received. nCharges vary. There is no charge for pensioners, however fees apply after midnight. For all house call bookings, telephone 9389 3133, give the receptionist an address including the nearest cross street and if ringing after dark, please leave the front house light on and secure any large household pets. Payment at time of call is appreciated. Fees depend on the service and medication required. A basic visit costs $130 ($83.35 rebate from Medicare) from 7pm to 11pm, from 11pm to midnight $160 (rebate is $89.70), after midnight to 7am $280 (some Medicare rebate will be received) to be paid by credit card at time of booking. Anyone accessing this service must already be a patient of a general practitioner registered with this service.
