About Amputee Clinic - Wyong Hospital - Rehabilitation Medicine Department

Amputee Clinics are held every Wednesday at 1.30 pm - 3 pm. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The clinic is attended regularly by a physiotherapist, prosthetist, and doctor. For each clinic if necessary the services of an occupational therapist or social worker can be arranged. If client feels the need to see a doctor this needs to be stated when making an appointment. For Outpatient clients - Dr Lam is available on Mondays from 1 pm to 3 pm and Dr Smith on Fridays 10 am to 11.30 am. The Clinic aims to facilitate early mobilisation of amputees involving assessment, fitting and training in care and use of prostheses, and continuing care.
