ARAFMI Hunter - Family and friends promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing, provide a range of services for families and friends who have a relative or friend with a mental illness. There are opportunities to develop skills in carer participation or give of your time to support other families. The service provides Counselling, Support groups and telephone support. Group programs. Education and Information. Retreats (for carers). Advocacy strong voice for carers in the wider community, mental health services. Mental Health week walk of pride to de-stigmatised metal illness.
