ARAFMI (WA) Inc. is now known as Arafmi Mental Health Carers & Friends Association (WA) Incorporated. nServices provided are:-nFamily Support-nProfessional family support counsellors are available FREE. nMetropolitan Mutual Support Groups-nThese groups are known as Arafmi Share and Care Groups and are generally facilitated by carers for carers.nAdvocacynYouth ServicesnThis programme is for young people (aged 8 - 18 years) who have a family member with a diagnosed mental illness.nHoliday RespitenThis program offers holiday respite to people with a diagnosed mental illness. nCommunity EducationnSchool Education ProgramnInformation AvailablenArafmi publishes a range of booklets and pamphlets about mental illness, including a Psychiatric Services Directory for WA. Our small but growing library contains books, videos, audio tapes and journal articles and newsletters of interest. These are available for loan free of charge to members.
