Aunties and Uncles program is an extended family network which provides on-going caring support to families in stress and crisis situations or families without extended family.nReferral through social workers, district officers, community agencies or parents themselves.nAlways looking for volunteers - single or married, with or without children of their own. Friendly, caring and non judgemental nature with liking and time for children. nVolunteers undergo police checks, home visit, Criminal Checks and a thorough screening process ,plus provide 2 references. Volunteers must be over age 21.
