The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is responsible for conduting federal elections and referendums and maintaining the electorla roll. Electors only need to complete one form to enrol for federal, state and local government elections. The AEC provides a range of options for voting where people have difficulty in attending a polling place. The ACE also provides a range of electoral information and education programs and activities.
