About Ballarat Hospice Care

Community palliative care is provided by a multidisciplinary team free of charge for people, and their families, living with an incurable illness. Nursing care and support can be provided at home, sometimes in conjunction with district nursing. Emergency on call is available 24 hours per day for registered patients. Volunteer support is available for both patient and family in its daily activities for transport, shopping, bereavement support etc. Inpatient admission can be facilitated if required.
