Provides opportunities for older citizens to maintain self-esteem and independence, and avoid loneliness and isolation through work, education, sport and social activities. Anyone 55 years plus can attend the centre daily to participate in activities such as aerobics, indoor bowls, pools, darts and regular outings including shopping bus.nBeehive buses pick up from stops at Surry Hills and Town Hall and take participants directly to the centre. Volunteers are needed to do mailing and packaging. This is light sit down work. Breakfast, morning tea and a two course lunch are provided free of charge to all participants and volunteers.
