About Bellevue Care Centre

Bellevue Care Centre comprises of a 43 bed High Care Facility (10 beds are allocated for dementia)nand a 56 bed Low Care Facility (19 of which cater for dementia). Bellevue has operated since 1960 as a 20 bed nursing home in Clayfield, transferring to our new facility at Ferny Hills in September 1996. At present Bellevue is extending our facility by creating another High Care Dementia Ward containing 6 beds and another Low Care Wing containing 20 beds.nOur facility operates an aging in place policy, which means that when you are admitted as a Low Care resident and should your category change to high care while at Bellevue you can stay at Bellevue instead of having to find placement at another facility.
