Beryl Lewis is a day respite centre which provides social opportunities for older people while providing their carers with a break.nClients need to manage their own medication. nService can only take people who self manage any incontinence issues.nBuilding is accessible.nTransport, morning tea, lunch and activities are all provided in the cost.nTransport available every day except limited room on Fridays. They can pick up from areas between the Windang bridge to Albion Park. People from outside this area can still attend the centre but must be dropped off.nVolunteers are used in this service and they receive training and education to support them.nActivities include: dominoes, craft, outings, musical entertainment and bingo.nBeryl Lewis Day Care are able to cater to people with mild/ moderate dementia but are unable to take people who wander.
