About Botany Bay City Council - Community Services / Aged Services Division

Council employs a number of community development workers to work with residents of the Botany Bay Local Government Area on issues relating to older people, the frail aged, people with a disability, families, children and CALD communities. These workers are able to provide counselling services, and information and referral to accommodation, health, and employment and training services. The Community Development Workers are also responsible for organising local community events such as Seniors Week and Carers Week celebrations.
