Support group for carers organised through the Byron Shire Respite Service particularly for carers of elderly people with special needs. Social activities planned by members, information on services, education from health care professionals. Centre-based day care for frail aged and people with dementia. Also support for people with dementia and challenging behaviour.nSupport group for carers once a month (3rd Tues mth). Social contact and/or accompaniment in order to participate in community life eg. attending a social activity, letter writing, shopping & social support.
