Aiming to assist Cancer Patients and their Carers in every way possible to allow community nurses to care for cancer patients in the comfort of their home,CPAS funds equipment to make this possible.CPAS has made available water chairs,syringe drivers which deliver continuous medication to prevent pain, an oxygen concentrator for people with breathing difficulties,sheepskins,wheelchairs and numerous other pieces of special equipment.nFinancial assistance can be given for the costs of transport,accomodation or medication.Also able to fund,respite and Private Nursing Service to enable patients to be cared for at home during their last days.Group meets 10 am the second thurs of the month at the Old Bowral Hospital.
