About Catholic Healthcare Community Services - Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) - Lower North Shore

Provides Community Aged Care Packages which are planned and coordinated services to help older people remain at home, rather than going into low level (hostel) care. Typical services include work around the house, personal care, meal preparation, transport, socialisation, bill paying, shopping, medicine monitoring and organisation of social activities. Note that for recipients of the pension, the maximum that may be charged for a CACP is 17.5% of the basic pension rate.
